I have just spend some time at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Kolkata and what a good surprise. The hotel team is taking a good care of the place and makes you feel very comfortable. The restaurant is something, food is super tasty and I have enjoyed very much all I have ate. I will definitely come back. Big thank to sandip Ghosn that brings me my room service, Nikhil mondal who takes care of my room everyday, Bhabna from the restaurant but as well the people I didn’t name, from the kitchen to restaurant staff and the lobby, that are all part of the great job. Thanks a lot for your attention and your service. 🙏🏻

Gentle*** at Reception very pleasing attitude. Room was good with fridge nice setup but lighting is not effective. We had views of old buildings. Stairwell had very old smell due to poor ventilation. Breakfast taste was generally poor, omelette had bad smell. Dining section is beautiful and waiters etc.. very helpful. Juice and coffee were quite good.

Close to the airport and good for early morning transit. Room is big and clean. Buffet style breakfast with mostly Indian food and some continental options.

The hotel staff are kind and helpful. My room was upgraded so I could be on the same floor as my traveling companions. The room was decently clean but the wifi was slow.

The hotel recently started massage service so they offered us a discount. The masseuse did a nice job. We chose the Swedish massage. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, a Spencer’s supermarket, and about 10 minutes from a nice shopping center.

Thanks to Priyanka our first 永安 to Kolkata went smoothly. She provided a lot of assistance for exchanging money, arranging the shuttle to the airport for the next morning, and giving directions for how to get to the nearby attractions. She also upgraded our room from deluxe to premium for free. We really appreciated her help.
