格拉梅西馬塞爾酒店 (The Marcel at Gramercy)

We had a horrible experience at Marcel. Firstly, when we tried to check in, the front desk woman said that there was a physical emergency that shut the hotel down, and said that they were no longer taking any hotel guests. They had not contacted us prior about this change. Instead, they said that they would transfer our reservation to their sister hotel, The Bentley. We had to make a 30 minute trek to the hotel The Bentley and when we finally got there, the hotel claimed not to see our reservation. They also said that we did not pay, when we had in fact already paid through 永安. The front desk woman said she would need to contact her manager, and told us to wait in the meantime. This resulted in us waiting for two hours, until she finally told us that our room was ready. During the two hours, she did not provide any updates such as how long it would take except tell us that she was waiting for her manager.After we finally got our room, we got charges each night for our stay there, even after they said they had settled the situation. She did not inform us that we would need to pay again, and the hotel charged our credit card against our will. In addition, two days into our stay, our hotel room cards stopped working. Overall, this was a truly terrible experience, and both Marcel and The Bentley have terrible service. They are scheming to scam you out of your money - we never got any confirmation or explanation as to why we could not check into our original room at the Marcel. DO NOT STAY HERE.
