Much happier with my stay here this time around! Decided to give it one more try to see if it had improved, and it really had. Enjoyed the weekend at this location; used the fitness room (a first for me), and was pleased with the breakfast offerings. The room itself was lovely and large, the bed was comfortable and the bed linens were clean and soft. The bathroom was merely ok; the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor a bit which made things slippery, but we managed. Was happy for the minifridge and the TV was fine quality; I enjoyed being able to sign into my streaming service accounts and watch movies. As long as the price stays reasonable, I'm sure I'll be back, as it's very convenient to many places in Kanata.

The hotel was very clean and our room was clean as well. The complimentary breakfast was good, and the fact that they provided coffee 24/7 in the lobby was a great plus. Front desk staff were also very attentive and helpful. The location is a bit far from restaurants and guests would need a car or take an uber to get food. It was a pleasant stay and we would consider staying here again if we need to visit Ottawa.
