Terrible experience with an extremely small room and randomly turned off a/c.

I highly recommend you look for alternative accommodations for your WA 永安. This hotel was not up to par. The room was extremely small and the photos on the website did not match the reality of the dirty and damp room. The A/C was set to turn off intermittently, making it uncomfortable to stay in. The "free breakfast" was subpar, with only bread, cereal, and a coffee machine to choose from. Additionally, there were no proper tables for breakfast and it was situated in close proximity to the reception. The hotel also lacked safety measures on the doors. For even cheaper room rates, you can stay in much nicer and safer hotels like the Intercontinental in Perth, which is just 20 km away. Don't waste your money and disappointment on this hotel. Trust me, it's not worth it.

Location is smack bam in the middle of Freo, hotel staff were friendly, room was prefect for a nigh out, breakfast was delish and the little bar next door had a cozy vibe with the DJ spinning actual vinyl records, top notch, we loved our stay...no complaints. 100% recommend this hotel !!

Loved this hotel. I was a little nervous about some of the review/descriptions describing it as shipping containers -- but once you are there, it just feels like any normal hotel. The rooms are compact, but totally sufficient. The design is great, beds are super comfortable, AC worked well, bathroom was really nice. And the service was fantastic. It's a boutique hotel and you really felt the personal touch. They warmly greeted us on arrival, were happy to store our bags, gave all kinds of great advice, etc. On the morning of our check-out, we had to get an early start and hit the road at 7am (to catch the 7:30 ferry to Rottnest Island). Breakfast starts at 7am, so when we asked the night before if we could get some kind of to-go box, the lady at the front desk said she would just arrive a little early in the morning and have everything ready at 6:45 so we could eat something before we left the hotel. Amazing! They also let us just leave our suitcases in our room and said they would bring them down and store them at the front desk. We really felt like they actually cared about us and were willing to do whatever to make our stay great. Highly recommend!
